The latest buzz is that, 'Mappilai Vinayagar' will be a continuation to yesteryear blockbuster 'Mundhanai Mudichu'. But no, it's not a sequel! The film will boast off an entirely different storyline.It's said that the film is based on Bhagyaraj's child in 'Mundhanai Mudichu' and he will be seen as a grown young man in 'Mappilai Vinayagar'.
Jeeva of Lollu Sabha fame plays male lead and a hunt is on for the heroine. Bhagyaraj, Urvasi, Santhanam, Thavakalai, Mayilsamy and Manobala will be seen in this film which will be helmed by Sriram.
The director has planned to wrap the film in a single schedule which will go on floors in Karaikudi in the second week of August.
